What are the steps and procedures for requesting access to public information?

First: Preparing Your Request:

    • Verify that this data is not already in the public domain before proceeding.
  • Complete the Freedom of Information (FOI) Request Form
    • Use the official communication channels provided by the Center.
    • Select "Data Sharing Request" from the form’s options.
    • Provide your personal details (full name and contact info) along with a detailed description of the requested information.
  • Attach Supporting Documents
    • If necessary, attach identification documents or additional materials to verify your identity or provide context for your request.

Second: Submitting Your Request:

Third: Response Timeframe and Clarifications

  • Request for Clarification: If the Center requires further details, you will be notified and given time to respond. The response timeframe will be paused until the clarification is received.

Fourth: Review of the Response Process

  • Approval: The time required to process or obtain access to public information will be determined based on factors such as data type, volume, effort and time required. The applicant will be notified accordingly.
  • Partial Approval or Referral: Information may be provided partially, or the request may be referred to a different entity.
  • Rejection: You will receive an explanation for this decision, as well as instructions on how you can appeal.

  • The requested information will be delivered via the National Open Data Platform or by email.
